Job Description: Contract SAP EWM Consultant - Pharmaceutical Industry

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Contract SAP EWM Consultant to join our team for an initial engagement of 6 months. The consultant should possess a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP EWM implementation and configuration, with a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry. Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in German is a valuable asset. The consultant should have a proven track record in leading SAP EWM roll-out projects and will be responsible for delivering high-quality solutions within the stipulated timeframe.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, logistics, and IT departments, to gather business requirements and translate them into effective SAP EWM solutions.

Lead and actively participate in end-to-end SAP EWM implementation projects, encompassing system design, configuration, testing, training, and post-implementation support.

Customize and configure SAP EWM functionalities based on business needs, ensuring seamless system performance and alignment with industry best practices.

Utilize your expertise in SAP EWM process optimization to streamline warehouse operations, inventory management, and order fulfillment processes.

Identify process gaps through collaboration with business stakeholders, suggesting enhancements, and implementing solutions to enhance warehouse management efficiency.

Conduct workshops, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing activities to facilitate a smooth transition for end-users to the new SAP EWM system.

Contribute to data migration, system integration, and testing efforts during project roll-outs.

Remain up-to-date with the latest advancements in SAP EWM, proactively recommending solutions to improve the existing system.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP EWM implementation, configuration, and support.

Sound understanding of warehouse management processes, particularly within the pharmaceutical sector.

Fluent in English; proficiency in German is advantageous.

Demonstrated success in leading SAP EWM roll-out projects, including end-to-end implementations.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of comprehending intricate business scenarios and proposing effective solutions.

Excellent communication skills, with an ability to engage stakeholders at various organizational levels.

Relevant SAP EWM certifications will be beneficial.
